Okay. There was neither catnip nor four-legged pussy cats at the posh Palm Beach jewelry store, Kaufmann de Suisse . However, there was no lack of cat passion, with rhinestone cat ear headbands wore by staff and models, and framed pictures of cats adorned with gems sitting atop the jewelry cases filled with precious stones .

Palm Beach Island Cats will hold its premier dinner dance “The Cat’s Meow Ball” on Friday, March 15 at Club Colette, 215 Peruvian Ave., to benefit the pussy cats that work and live in the fancy zip code of 33480.
