Island Cats plans event Tuesday

Palm Beach Island Cats will celebrate National Feral Cat Day Tuesday at Nick & Johnnie’s, 207 Royal Poinciana Way.

Celebrity bartenders Mo Foster and Sally Sevareid of KOOL 105.5 FM will be serving from 6 to 8 p.m.

There will be a cash bar, free hors d’oeuvres and raffle prizes.

National Feral Cat Day promotes humane care of feral cats. Palm Beach Island Cats’ mission is to prevent future generations of homeless cats through a humane practice of trap, neuter and return and to maintain the current population with feeding, watering and medical care.

will be honored with a luncheon picnic on July 10 at The Royal Poinciana Chapel Fellowship Hall.  Call 512-4884 to make a reservation.  Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., and the theme for the picnic is The Magic Of Volunteers.
